Assembly Bill 307 – Required Posting
Updated to reflect the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation’s (DETR) required quarterly report on employment training and education programs, listing additional services and resources for employers and job seekers:
- Employment and Training Services – Includes:
- Employment services for job seekers
- Eligible training providers
- Business Services – Includes:
- Job order posting websites
- Business closure assistance
- Hiring incentives and tax credit information
- Other Employment and Training Services – Includes links to:
- Federal programs
- In-person training and certification programs
- Online learning resources
Nevada Safety and Health Protection on the Job – Reflects the annual adjustment of the maximum penalties for violations of the Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Act:
- Serious violations -$14,502/each violation
- Nonserious violations – $14,502/each violation
- Failure to correct violations – $14,502/per day
- Willful or repeated violations – $145,027/each violation
Who must post?
- All Nevada private sector employers must post and maintain the Assembly Bill 307 Required Posting in a conspicuous location where notices to employees and job applicants are customarily posted and read. (Added to NRS 232, effective Oct. 1, 2021)
- Nevada state and local public employers and all private sector employers must post and maintain the Nevada OSHA posting in each of the employer’s establishments in a conspicuous location where notices to employees are customarily posted. (NAC 618.6428)
