Who must post the California Dental Office Minimum Standards for Infection Control Poster?
Each dental office in California is required to post the regulation specifying the minimum standards for infection control as provided in California Code of Regulations, Title 16, Section 1005. The Dental Board of California annually reviews the regulation to ensure that the minimum standards for infection control are adequately addressing patient safety needs and are consistent with other governing agencies, such as CAL/OSHA, CalEPA, and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control guidelines for infection prevention and control in dental settings.
