Who must post the 2026 Ohio Minimum Wage Peel ‘N Post?
Every employer that is subject the Ohio Minimum Wage Law is required to post the current Ohio Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in or about the business’ premises. (ORC 4111.09)
What is covered on the 2026 Ohio Minimum Wage posting?
Effective January 1, 2026:
- The minimum wage increases to $11.00 per hour. Tipped employees must be paid a cash wage of at least $5.50 per hour.
- Employers who gross less than $405,000 must pay employees no less than the federal minimum wage rate.
- The posting also describes overtime pay, records to be kept by employers, sub-minimum wage, and individuals who are exempt from the minimum wage.
