Cal/OSHA has released a mandatory update of the California Safety & Health Protection on the Job workplace posting dated July 2025.
The Cal/OSHA Safety & Health Protection on the Job posting shows updated contact information for multiple Cal/OSHA District and Regional Office locations, including the addition of:
- Riverside and Santa Barbara District Office locations and telephone numbers
- Fresno Regional Office location and telephone number
- Posting date: July 2025
Who must post?
All California employers are required to post and maintain the Cal/OSHA Safety & Health Protection on the Job posting in the workplace. (8 CCR § 340).
- Employers must post at least one copy of the Cal/OSHA Safety & Health Protection on the Job posting in each establishment in a conspicuous place where notices to employees are customarily posted.
- Employers must take steps to insure that the Cal/OSHA Safety & Health Protection on the Job posting is not altered, defaced or covered by other material.
- Any employer that fails to post the Cal/OSHA Safety & Health Protection on the Job posting in the manner required by law is subject to a fine and/or substantial civil penalties.
