Restaurants across the United States are required to display specific labor law and compliance posters to keep employees informed of their workplace rights. In addition to mandatory labor law postings, many states and local jurisdictions require restaurants to display industry-specific posters that address health, safety, and customer regulations. These include notices such as “No Smoking,” “Employees Must Wash Hands,” choking first aid instructions, signage about service dogs in outdoor dining areas, and other customer-facing compliance materials. Requirements vary by state, so it’s important for restaurant owners and managers to know which posters are legally required to ensure compliance and maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
