This month, Louisiana Economic Development launches the Louisiana Job Connection, a new, free website designed to meet the increasing talent demands of Louisiana employers with the skills of job seekers. The website promises an accelerated job/applicant search process saving employers and prospective employees time and money, reducing unemployment, increasing productivity and expanding sales for small businesses. The website is being promoted as state-of-the-art with innovative job posting and matching processes and an intuitive, easy-to-use interface.
Search capabilities for Louisiana employers:
- Candidate matching: Employers can adjust search settings to limit or broaden the number or percentage of job seeker profiles that meet their skill requirements.
- Customization: The drag-and-drop feature allows companies to create a custom landing pages to tailor their messaging to meet talent recruitment needs, include multiple recruiters and post jobs manually on the site or pull them from another site where they already post jobs.
- Communication Tools: Employers can bulk-message applicants or send messages to particular job seekers based on match results.
