What’s changed?

The Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation posting has been revised with a new physical and website address for the Department of Industry Accidents. The Department of Industry Accidents oversees the Massachusetts workers’ compensation system. To file a claim for benefits, employees must have the department’s current contact information.
Who must post?
All employers operating in Massachusetts are required to carry workers’ compensation insurance for their employees, and must notify employees of the name of the workers’ compensation insurance carrier.
Employers are required to display the Massachusetts Workers’ Compensation posting in each workplace. (M.G.L. Chapter 152, Section 21) Failure to display the posting may subject the employer to a fine of $100.
