What’s New?
The Massachusetts Paid Family and Medical Leave posting has been revised to reflect the following 2023 contribution rates and benefit amounts:
Employers may deduct payroll contributions of up to 0.318% from a covered individual’s wages or other earnings.
Individuals may receive the maximum benefit amount of $1,129.82 per week.
Who Must Post?
Every employer in Massachusetts must post the Paid Family and Medical Leave posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in or about the premises where a covered employee is employed. (MGL, Ch. 175M, Sec. 4(a))
Every employer who has 15 or more employees is required to post the Federal Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal in a place where it can be seen by employees and applicants. (42 USC 2000e-10)
