What’s new?

The District of Columbia Minimum Wage posting has been updated by the Office of Wage-Hour Compliance to reflect the minimum wage rates for:

  • Tipped employees:
    • Effective May 1, 2023 – $6.00 per hour.
    • Effective July 1, 2023 – $8.00 per hour.
  • Non-tipped employees:
    • Effective July 1, 2023 – $17.00 per hour.
Who must post?

All District of Columbia employers are required to prominently display the Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in each establishment. (7 DCMR § 912; DC Code § 30-1009)
