Minimum Wage
The Minimum Wage posting has been revised with the new minimum wage rates, effective January 1, 2025:
- All employees: $15.00 per hour
- Full-time students under 19 years of age working in nonprofit organizations: $13.50 per hour
- Minors 14 and 15 years of age working less than 24 hours in a week: $11.25 per hour
Every employer subject to the Rhode Island Minimum Wage Act is required to post and maintain the Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in the workplace. (RI General Laws § 28-12-11)
Veterans’ Benefits and Services
Pursuant to House Bill 7058 (2024), employers with 50 or more employees are required to display this new posting in the workplace. The posting provides resources available to veterans, including the United States Department of Veterans Affairs Crisis Line.
What’s next?
