The Minimum Wage posting has been updated with the minimum wage rates effective as of July 1, 2025. The general minimum wage is $17.95 per hour. The base minimum wage for tipped employees is $12.00 per hour.
Employee Rights in the District of Columbia
The Employee Rights in the District of Columbia posting has been updated to reflect the new general minimum wage that went into effect on July 1, 2025. The posting details employee rights and benefits covered by District of Columbia labor and anti-discrimination laws.
- All employers must display the Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in each establishment. (7 DCMR § 912)
- All employers must display the Employee Rights in the District of Columbia posting in a conspicuous place accessible to all employees in or about the premises of the workplace. (DC Code § 32-161)
