What’s New?
Non-Compete Clauses
Pursuant to Senate Bill 107 (2025), most non-compete agreements in Wyoming are void. This new law applies to contracts entered into on or after the effective date of July 1, 2025. The law does allow for non-compete provisions in agreements with “executive and management personnel.” To ensure employers and employees are aware of this change, the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services has created a mandatory posting.
Discrimination
The Discrimination posting has been revised to reflect a new physical address for the Wyoming Fair Employment Program. The Program investigates and determines the validity of employment discrimination complaints. All employers covered by the Wyoming Fair Employment Practices Act must display this updated posting. Unemployment
The Unemployment posting has been revised to include a new online job search platform web link. The platform allows employees to explore job opportunities and resources. All employers must display this posting in locations easily accessible to employees. (WS § 27-3-401)
