What’s new?
The New Jersey Minimum Wage posting has been revised to reflect new minimum wage rates effective January 1, 2023:
Most employers wage rate: $14.13 per hour.
Seasonal and small employers wage rate: $12.93 per hour.
Agricultural employers wage rate: $12.01 per hour.
Tipped workers cash wage rate: $5.26 per hour.
Long-term care facility direct care staff members wage rate: $17.13 per hour.
The 2025-2027 wage rates have been removed from the updated posting. The new posting revision date is 1/23.
Who must post?
Every employer subject to the New Jersey Wage and Hour Law must post the Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in or about the premises. (N.J.S.A. § 34:11-56a21).
Every employer who has 15 or more employees is required to post the Federal “Know Your Rights” posting in a place where it can be seen by employees and job applicants. (42 USC 2000e-10).
