Montana law (MCA, Sec. 39-3-409) requires the State minimum wage rate to be adjusted each year for inflation, as measured by the increase in the Consumer Price Index rounded to the nearest 5 cents.
The Montana Minimum Wage posting has been updated with the minimum wage rate effective January 1, 2024. The minimum wage will increase to $10.30 per hour. The minimum wage rate for a business whose annual gross sales are $110,000 or less is $4 an hour.
