What’s New?
The Utah Safety and Health posting has been revised to reflect the annual adjustment of the maximum penalties for violations of Utah Occupational Safety and Health Standards, effective May 7, 2025:
- Serious violations – $16,131
- Failure to correct violations – $16,131
- Willful or repeated violations – not more than $161,323
The posting also reflects that employers now have the option to submit online accident reports. The web address for submitting reports and general complaints has been added to the posting.
Who Must Post?
Every Utah employer must post the Utah Safety and Health posting in a conspicuous place where notices to employees are customarily posted. (UAC R614-1-6) |
