For 2010, Arizona requires the following mandatory changes:
- 2010 AZ Minimum Wage notice
- New AZ Discrimination in Employment notice- New protected class added: “Results of Genetic Testing”
- GINA and ADA Changes
GINA stands for the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act. It is a federal law that prevents employers from collecting or using an employee’s genetic information when making hiring, firing, job placement, or promotion decisions. The new Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) notice must be posted which reflects this change.
