Pursuant to 2021 Senate Bill 5172, all agricultural employees in Washington have the right to earn overtime pay beginning January 1, 2022. As a result, the reference to the agricultural exemption from overtime pay was removed from the posting.Links to information about Meal and Rest Breaks, and the Washington Family Care Act, have been added to the posting.Historical information about the Paid Family and Medical Leave program was removed from the posting. Updated – Paid Time OffThe following changes to the Paid Family and Medical Leave program take effect January 1, 2022:
 
The maximum weekly benefit increases to $1,327.The PFML premium increases to 0.6% of each employee’s gross wages.The employee’s share of the PFML premium increases to 73%. Who must post? 
Employers must post “Your Rights as a Worker” in a readily accessible location and within plain view in each work site where an employee or employees are employed. (WAC 296-126-080)Employers must post the “Paid Time Off” notice in a common area, such as a break room or other area where such notices are customarily posted. (WAC 192-540-020) |  |
