New CT mandatory-to-post Paid Sick Leave poster – law is effective January 1, 2012. Connecticut employers employing 50 or more individuals in the state in any one (1) quarter in the previous year must post the new poster at the workplace where it is easy to view.
Under the law, an “employer” is any person, firm, business, educational institution, nonprofit agency, corporation, limited liability company or other entity and an “employee” is any employee, not only service workers.
