What changed?

Paid Family and Medical Leave
The posting has been revised to clarify that employers must provide for, contribute, or maintain the employee’s employment-related health insurance benefits during the employee’s family and medical leave.

Workers’ Compensation
The posting has been revised to clarify that the employer has a preferred medical provider arrangement. A section with the name of the arranged hospital and address is highlighted for employees to easily see.

The updated Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) (29 CFR § 516.4), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Employee Polygraph Protection Act (EPPA), & EEOC’s Know Your Rights (42 USC 2000e-10) are included on the 2023 Massachusetts All-On-One Labor Law Posters and Mobile Poster Paks.

Who must post?
  • Every employer in Massachusetts must post the Paid Family and Medical Leave posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in or about the premises where a covered employee is employed. (MGL, Ch. 175M, Sec. 4(a))
  • Every employer in Massachusetts must post the Workers’ Compensation posting in each workplace. (MGL, Ch. 152, Sec. 21)
