What’s New?
The Ohio Minimum Wage posting has been updated to reflect the 2024 inflation-adjusted minimum wage rate. The following increases are effective January 1, 2024:
- Minimum Wage Rate – $10.45 per hour
- Tipped Employee Minimum Wage Rate – $5.25 per hour, plus tips
- Gross revenue at or below which a business must pay its employees no less than the federal minimum wage rate – $385,000
Who Must Post?
Every employer with one or more employees who are subject to Ohio’s Minimum Wage Law is required to post the current Ohio Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous and accessible place on the premises of the business. (O.R.C. § 4111.09)
