What’s New?

The Paid Time Off posting has been revised to reflect the annual adjustment to the maximum weekly benefit amount and premium rates for Washington’s Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) program.

Starting January 1, 2024, the weekly benefit cap will increase, and the premium rates will decrease as follows:

  • Weekly benefit cap: $1,456.
  • Premium rate: 0.74% of the employee’s gross wages.
  • Employee contribution rate: 71%.

Who Must Post?

Each employer must post and maintain the Paid Time Off posting in conspicuous places on the premises of the business where notices to employees and applicants for employment are customarily posted. Failure to post this notice may result in a penalty. (RCW 50A.20.020)
