What’s new?
The New Jersey Minimum Wage posting has been revised to reflect new minimum wage rates effective January 1, 2024:
- Most employers wage rate: $15.13 per hour.
- Seasonal and small employers wage rate: $13.73 per hour.
- Agricultural employers wage rate: $12.81 per hour.
- Tipped workers cash wage rate: $5.26 per hour.
- Long-term care facility direct care staff members wage rate: $18.13 per hour.
The 2020 wage rates have been removed from the updated posting. The new posting revision date is 1/24.
Who must post?
Every employer subject to the New Jersey Wage and Hour Law must post the Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in or about the premises. (N.J.S.A. § 34:11-56a21) |
