- A new agency responsible for overseeing the unemployment insurance program, the Department of Unemployment Assistance.
- Removal of the call scheduling details when applying for unemployment insurance benefits by phone.
- Updated TeleClaim Center contact information.
Who must post?
Every employer subject to the Massachusetts Unemployment Insurance Law must post the Unemployment Insurance posting in a common employee area where it is visible to all staff. (MGL Ch. 151A Sec. 62A(g)) Employers are also required to provide a copy of the Massachusetts Unemployment Insurance Benefits Pamphlet to all employees who are separated from work, permanently or temporarily. |
