What’s new?
The 2024 Virginia Employment Commission Notice to Workers provides additional information for workers and employers. Changes include:
- General description of the availability of Unemployment Insurance benefits and when a claim may be filed.
- Information a claimant will need to provide, including legal name, Social Security number, and authorization to work, if applicable.
- Notice that employers must provide a copy of the posting to each worker at the time of separation from employment.
Who must post?
All employers must post and maintain in places readily accessible to employees the Virginia Employment Commission Notice to Workers. (Va. Code Ann. § 60.2-106) |
