Pregnancy and Related Conditions
The posting has been redesigned and revised as follows:
- Text was rephrased to help clarify that an employer is prohibited from terminating an employee, or denying an employment opportunity, instead of providing reasonable accommodations.
- Information on medical certification was removed.
- New web address for individuals wanting more information about their rights under the law.
Unemployment Insurance
The posting has been revised as follows:
- Steps to file an unemployment insurance claim online have been updated.
- All state employment centers’ phone numbers were removed.
- A new phone number was added for any assistance from the Department of Workforce services.
Who must post?
- Employers with 15 or more employees must display the Pregnancy and Related Conditions posting in a conspicuous place in the employer’s place of business. (Utah Code § 34A-5-106(7)(e))
- Employers with one or more employees must display the Unemployment Insurance posting in places readily accessible to employees. (Utah Code § 35A-4-406(1)(b))
