The Alaska Safety and Health Protection on the Job posting has been revised to reflect the annual adjustment of the maximum penalties for violations of Alaska Occupational Safety and Health Standards, effective February 1, 2025:
- Serious violations – $16,550.00
- Nonserious violations – $16,550.00
- Failure to correct violations – $16,550.00
- Willful or repeated violations – $165,514.00
Who Must Post?
Every employer with one or more employees must post the Alaska Safety and Health Protection on the Job posting in a prominent place or business premise. (AS 18.60.068) An employer who fails to post the required posting is subject to a civil fine of up to $16,550.00 (AS 18.60.095(g))
