Unemployment Insurance
Starting May 6, 2025, individuals filing online unemployment claims must use a new system. Individuals will need to create a MyMassGov account and connect it with Unemployment Services to make and manage their claims. The Unemployment Insurance posting reflects the new steps and web addresses to submit claims.Fair Employment
The posting includes the new Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) Worcester office contact information. Individuals can now choose from the Boston, Springfield, and Worcester offices to receive free consultations and file complaints.
Who must post?
- Every employer must display the Unemployment Insurance posting at each site operated by the employer, in a conspicuous place, accessible to employees. (Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 151A, § 62A(g))
- Every employer must post the Fair Employment posting at the employer’s place of business. (Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 151B, § 7)
