What’s New?

The Maine Department of Labor has revised the Paid Family and Medical Leave posting to provide more detailed information about the program, which is scheduled to start on May 1, 2026. Employees will now be allowed to take family leave for the birth or placement of a child through adoption or foster care. 

Who Must Post?

Maine Law (Title 26 MRSA § 42-B) requires every employer to place this posting in the workplace where workers can easily see it.
