Job Safety and Health Law

The updated posting reflects changes made by House Bill 1197 (2023), which expanded the list of qualified health care providers on workers’ compensation claims. Beginning July 1, 2025, qualified health care providers include physician assistants (PAs) and, for claims related solely to mental health conditions, psychologists.Notice to Employees – If a Job Injury Occurs (Self-insured)

Job Safety and Health Law
Every employer is required to post and maintain the Job Safety and Health Law posting where it can easily be seen by employees. (WAC 296-800-200)

Every employer, whether self-insured or insured through the state fund, is required to post and maintain in a conspicuous location the applicable Notice to Employees – If a Job Injury Occurs posting. (RCW 51.14.100)
