Connecticut Minimum Wage
The Minimum Wage posting has been updated with the minimum wage rate effective January 1, 2024. The minimum wage has increased to $15.69 per hour.
Connecticut Paid Sick Leave
The Paid Sick Leave notice was revised to reflect new paid sick leave uses. Pursuant to Senate Bill 2, service workers can use sick leave for a mental health wellness day. Mental health wellness day is defined as “a day during which a service worker attends to such service worker’s emotional and psychological well-being in lieu of attending a regularly schedule shift.” Service workers can also use paid sick leave for medical care or psychological or other counseling for physical or psychological injury or disability, obtaining services from a victim services organization, or if they or their child is a victim of family violence or sexual assault.
Who must post?

- All employers with 50 or more employees in the state must provide the Connecticut Paid Sick Leave notice to each employee. Employers may comply with the notice requirement by displaying the notice in a conspicuous place in the workplace. (CGS § 31-57w)
