What’s new?
The revised Wisconsin Unemployment Insurance posting clarifies that:
- Individuals may apply for unemployment benefits if they participate in the Trade Adjustment Assistance program.
- An initial claim must be filed within seven days of the end of the calendar week in which an individual wants to receive a benefit payment.
- A current address and bank routing number and account number are necessary to apply and receive benefit payments by direct deposit.
- The online hours to apply for unemployment benefits have been expanded.
Who must post?
Every employer subject to the Wisconsin Unemployment Insurance Law must post the Unemployment Insurance posting in each workplace where employees will readily see it. (DWD 120.01) |
