What’s new?
The Colorado Wage & Hour Rights & Responsibilities: COMPS Order posting has been updated to reflect 2025 minimum pay rates. The posting also clarifies wage and hour rights and responsibilities and provides access to additional wage and hour information.
Specific changes include:
- Posting title
- 2025 minimum wage rate: $14.81 per hour
- 2025 exempt executive/supervisor/administrator/professional salary threshold: $56,485
- Employers must use translations (available from the Division of Labor Standards & Statistics) of the poster/notice for limited-English employees.
- The Division can be contacted by phone and email for support in English or Spanish.
- Addition of QR codes and updated internet links for: (1) all laws, guidance, and complaints; (2) Spanish guidance and complaints; and (3) postings in other languages.
Employer responsibilities
- Every employer subject to the COMPS Order must display the COMPS Order poster in an area frequented by employees where it may be easily read during the workday. (7 CCR 1103-1-7.4.1)
- Every employer must include a copy of the COMPS Order poster with any written employee handbook, manual, or policies. (7 CCR 1103-1-7.4.2)
- Employers must use the Spanish-language version of the COMPS Order poster for any Spanish-speaking employees. (7 CCR 1103-1-7.4.3)
