Updates include:
- Minimum Wage Law
- Unemployment Insurance Benefits
- Idaho Law Prohibits Discrimination in Employment
What changed?
Minimum Wage Law – To help employers understand federal and state labor laws, the Idaho Department of Labor provides the “Guide to Idaho Labor Laws.” The guide covers information on minimum wage, overtime, child labor, wage payment, farm labor, and discrimination. The Minimum Wage Law posting has been revised to reflect the updated links to access the labor laws guide. Employers subject to the Minimum Wage Law must post this posting in a place accessible to employees. (IC § 44-1507)
Unemployment Insurance Benefits – Includes new information about unemployment insurance “navigators.” Navigators are individuals that can help claimants understand and file for unemployment insurance. They can be reached at Idaho’s Department of Labor offices. Employers subject to the Employment Security Law must post and maintain the Unemployment Insurance Benefits posting in places readily accessible to employees. (IC § 72-1368(2))
Idaho Law Prohibits Discrimination in Employment – Slightly redesigned with a new color scheme. The Idaho Human Rights Commission web address has been added for individuals with questions on the filing process. The Idaho Human Rights Commission has the authority to require the posting of this notice. (IC § 67-5909)
