What’s new?
The Vermont 2025 Minimum Wage posting has been updated to reflect the annual inflation-adjusted Minimum Wage Rate, Basic Wage Rate, and Maximum Tip Credit. As of January 1, 2025, the adjusted rates are as follows:
- Minimum Wage Rate: $14.01 per hour
- Basic Wage Rate (service or tipped employees): $7.01 per hour
- Maximum Tip Credit: $7.00 per hour
Who must post?
Vermont employers with two or more employees must prominently post the current Vermont Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous place in the area where employees are employed. (21 V.S.A. § 393)
