What changed?
Rules to be Observed by Employers
Changes include:
- Wage-related information from July 1, 2023 was removed.
- Tip/gratuity information was added to wage-related information effective July 1, 2024.
- Updated text of amended NRS 608.0198 concerning leave related to domestic violence or sexual assault.
Must be posted by all Nevada employers pursuant to NRS 608.013.
Nevada Safety and Health Protection on the Job
Updated 2025 maximum penalty amounts for Nevada OSHA violations:
- Serious violations – $16,550
- Nonserious violations- $16,550
- Failure to correct violations – $16,550
- Willful and repeated violations – $165,514
Must be posted by all Nevada employers pursuant to NAC 618.6428.
Pregnant Workers Fairness Act
- Updated Pregnant Workers Fairness Act statutory citation.
- Updated Nevada Equal Rights Commission (NERC) web address and Las Vegas office location.
Must be posted by all Nevada employers pursuant to NRS 613.4377.
Required Posting – Assembly Bill 307
- Complies with the Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation’s (DETR) January 1, 2025 resource reporting requirement.
Must be posted by all Nevada employers pursuant to NRS 232.933.
