Earned Income Credit (EIC) 2025
The posting has been revised to reflect the new income threshold for notifying new employees about the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). The revised posting includes the new earned income and adjusted gross income thresholds. The new maximums are:

  • Three or more qualifying children: $61,555 ($68,675 married filing jointly)
  • Two qualifying children: $57,310 ($64,430 married filing jointly)
  • One qualifying child: $50,434 ($57,554 married jointly)
  • No qualifying children: $19,104 ($26,214 married filing jointly)

Workers’ Compensation
The posting has been revised to clarify that an employee seeking workers’ compensation benefits for a work-related injury must submit a timely notice to the employer. The notice must be sent to the address listed under the “Employer Representative” and/or “Employer” sections of the posting. Any fraudulent actions to either obtain or deny worker’s compensation benefits will result in criminal and civil penalties for the individual committing the fraud.

Who Must Post?
  • Employers with 20 or more full-time or part-time employees must post the Earned Income Credit posting. (RS 23:1018.1)
  • Every employer is required to post the Workers’ Compensation posting in the place of business. (RS 23:1302)
