Minnesota May 2026 Change

Mandatory Update: Minimum Wage

Employers must now provide a 15-minute rest break within every four consecutive hours of work, and a 30-minute break for shifts of six or more consecutive hours. The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry has revised the Minimum Wage posting to include this information. The updated posting also features a QR code for direct access to the Department of Labor’s “Work Breaks, Rest Periods” FAQ webpage.
