Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Standard 29 CFR 1910 requires most employers to provide their employees with safe and healthful workplaces. OSHA recommends that every workplace include one or more employees who are trained and certified in first aid, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Providing first aid and CPR training can help develop a first aid program for the workplace.
