LABOR LAW POSTING UPDATES
State Changes
California Cal/OSHA Safety and Health Protection on the Job: The revised Cal/OSHA Safety and Health Protection on the Job posting includes updated district and regional addresses and telephone numbers.
Alaska Minimum Wage & Safety and Health Protection on the Job: Alaska’s Minimum Wage posting has been updated to reflect the new $14.00 per hour rate effective July 1, 2026. Additionally, the Alaska Safety and Health Protection on the Job posting now includes revised discrimination and retaliation complaint procedures for public sector employees, updated federal OSHA contact details, and a new QR code for direct access to the Alaska OSHA webpage.
Oregon All Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) postings have been updated for the period effective July 2026 through June 2027.
Key changes include:
- New minimum wage rates effective July 1, 2026
- Revised sick leave, blood donation, and bereavement leave provisions
- Clarified meal and rest break requirements
- Clarified notice requirements regarding harassment prevention policies
- New agricultural worker standards
Paid Leave Oregon: The updated posting provides clearer guidance on employee and employer responsibilities. When leave is unforeseeable, employees are required to notify their employer within 24 hours of starting leave and provide written notice within 3 days after starting leave. During leave, employers must continue offering the same health insurance coverage and employees must continue paying their share of the premiums.
Federal Changes
Federal Contractors Worker Rights Under Executive Order 13658: New minimum wage rates for contracts covered by Executive Order 13658 went into effect on May 11, 2026, increasing the standard rate to $13.65 per hour and $9.55 per hour for tipped workers. The Federal Contractor Minimum Wage poster has been revised to reflect these new rates. The poster also features a revised URL for easy access to additional details and has removed irrelevant information regarding the rescinded Executive Order 14026.
