The Nevada Equal Rights Commission (NERC) issued a revised Discrimination is Illegal labor law poster. The revised labor law poster adds “gender identity or expression” to the list of characteristics protected from discrimination.
Three bills signed into law this year add the new protected category in employment (AB 211), businesses offering services to the public (SB 331), and housing (SB 368). The law is effective October 1, 2011.
