  • Colorado Department of Labor and Employment has proposed an increase in the minimum wage rate going into effect January 1, 2012. The proposal increases the minimum wage rate 28 cents to $7.64 per hour, and $4.62 per hour for tipped employees.

The state’s Minimum Wage labor law poster is updated each year. The notice provides a summary of Colorado laws relating to minimum wage and working conditions. Employers are required to post the Minimum Wage poster in an area frequented by employees where it may be easily read.

Employers can comply with the mandatory posting requirement by displaying Compliance Poster Company’s updated 2012 Colorado All-On-One™ Labor Law Poster, or using a new Colorado 2012 Minimum Wage Peel ‘N Post™ for earlier versions of the Colorado All-On-One posters. Colorado labor law posters are available in English and Spanish.
