South Carolina Unemployment Insurance Peel ‘N Post™
South Carolina All-On-One Labor Law Poster™

What’s new?
  • South Carolina Unemployment Insurance notice updated with new website address for the MyBenefits online portal.
  • The new website address must be used to access the MyBenefits portal, so this change is already in effect!

What’s changed?
The Unemployment Insurance notice has been revised with the new website address for the MyBenefits online portal. Individuals must submit an application through the MyBenefits portal to be considered eligible for unemployment insurance benefits, so this is important information that must be conveyed to employees.
The Unemployment Insurance notice has also been revised in the following ways:
  • Text at the top of the notice now refers to the S.C. Employment and Workforce Law, rather than the S.C. Employment Security Law.
  • The website address to access an online guide to applying for benefits has been added.
  • The website address to access an online list of SC Works centers has been removed.
  • The notice now has a blue color scheme.
  • The revision date on the notice has been updated to August 2018.
Who is required to post?
The South Carolina Unemployment Insurance notice is a mandatory posting for all employers with employees in the state of South Carolina. It must be posted and maintained in conspicuous places where workers perform their services so that the information may be read by all workers. (S.C. Code of Regulations, R47-11)
