Massachusetts 2019 Minimum Wage Notice is Now Available

The Office of Massachusetts Attorney General has released the new 2019 Wage and Hour Laws Notice. The notice has been slightly reformatted and updated with new scheduled minimum wage rates. During the 2018 Massachusetts legislative session, House Bill 4640 was passed to increase the minimum wage rate for the next five years. The updated notice reflects the following new rates and effective dates:

January 1, 2023 $15.00 $6.75

The updated notice also includes a new law code reference for the “Employees Have a Right to Sue” section. The new posting date is 10/2018.

Massachusetts employers can comply with their posting requirement (M.G.L.
