What’s new?
The Rhode Island Minimum Wage posting has been revised with the following minimum wage rates effective January 1, 2024:
- All employees: $14.00 per hour.
- Full-time students under 19 years of age working in nonprofit organizations: $12.60 per hour.
- Minors 14 and 15 years of age working less than 24 hours in a week: $10.50 per hour.
Every employer subject to the Rhode Island Minimum Wage Act is required to post and maintain the Minimum Wage posting in a conspicuous and accessible place in the workplace. (RI General Laws § 28-12-11)
