What’s new? 

The Your Rights as a Worker posting has been updated for 2024. Changes to the posting include:

  • The addition of a QR code enabling employees to access the Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) Workers’ Rights website via a mobile device. The mobile website features content covering:
    • State and local Minimum Wages
    • Paid Sick Leave
    • Rest Breaks, Meal Periods & Schedules
    • Termination & Retaliation
    • Filing a Worker Rights Compliant, listing and linking to wage and non-wage related issues
    • L&I forms and publications
  • Updated url addresses to locate specific Workers’ Rights information on the web.
Who must post?

All Washington employers are required to post a current copy of “Your Rights as a Worker” in a readily accessible location and within plain view in each work site where an employee or employees are employed. (WAC 296-126-080)
