What’s new?
The 2024 Oregon OSHA Know Your Rights posting details additional worker rights and protections under the Oregon Safe Employment Act, including the right to:
  • Notify the employer, Oregon OSHA, or both about workplace hazards.
  • Refuse to perform a hazardous task that would expose the employee to imminent danger or serious physical harm and there is no reasonable alternative.
  • Copies of their exposure records covered by Oregon OSHA rules, including any OSHA medical records and personal sampling records.
  • Request the workplace “OSHA 300 log” and “OSHA 300A summary.”
The posting also includes:
  • Updated U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Region 10, street address and telephone number.
  • New “Know your whistleblower rights” QR code.
Who must post?

All Oregon employers with one or more employees are required to post the Oregon OSHA posting in a conspicuous manner in a central location where workers can be expected to see it (for example, a location where employees report each day or at a location from which employees operate to carry out their activities.)
